Rules
Rule 6. In Game and Out of Game Behavior
Rule 7. Respect your superiors
Rule 11. Post your Questions & Concerns
Be respectful to all members in game, in vent and on the forums. We are all members of a community, and if you do not like another member we ask that you refrain from interacting with them. Don't bring arguments into vent or in game. This extends to non-members who are in our servers. Be polite to everyone and don't single people out because they don't have the EXG tag.
We expect that the EXG tag be worn at all times in CSS, and as your steam name, although while playing Left 4 Dead it is understandable if you don't wear a tag while playing with other members (So you can get through a game). We don't expect members to wear the tag while playing games not listed as our "Main" games. Currently, those games are Counter-Strike: Source, Left 4 Dead and World of Warcraft. We don't require our members be involved in our World of Warcraft guild, although it is encouraged.
No other clan tag can be worn while in Exiled, including other non-clan "groups." The EXG tag at the front of your name is all that is permitted; no end-of-name tags can be worn.
Under no circumstances can a member use their admin on another member unless they are breaking one of these rules and have significant proof and support. Admin is given to members as a privilege to help maintain our servers. Admin abuse will not be tolerated and a member's admin, and membership can be subject for removal.
The clan provides services to its members as a privilege of membership. This includes, but is not limited to the usage of our vent server, our pub server, our forums, admin in these areas, and the ability to play on our scrim teams under our tag. These are privileges and not rights, and we retain the right to remove them from a member for misbehaviour.
We ask that all members keep to a two or three syllable vent phonetic, if their in-game name allows it. Spamming of phonetics is distracting and annoying, so keep yours short.
Members are asked to keep mic spamming and music playing to a minimum. If you wish to play music or joke around with another member, don't do it in the public lobby; no one else wants to hear it.
Rule 6. In Game and Out of Game Behavior
It is asked that while you are in game you respect other players (members and non-members alike), regardless of your relationship with them. Do not criticize the skill level of other player in game, vent, or through steam. Breaking this rule will not be tolerated. If you see a member or non-member breaking these rules, contact a Leader or Officer immediately.
Members in leadership positions may at times make choices that every member of the clan doesn't agree with. We ask that you realize these choices are not made in haste, and are for the betterment the clan. Under no circumstances is it alright to show disrespect towards any superior. If you have a problem with something, please bring it up in a respectable manner.
In Exiled, we are a "one clan only" clan. We ask that our members only have membership with us, and do not wear another clan's tags or apply to become a member of a different clan while being in Exiled.
The forums are for fun, but we ask you refrain from trolling the forum and posting obscene pictures. We also demand that you do not post an attack thread towards another member and don't hijack another person's thread. The breaking of any of these rules can result in the removal of a member's forum privileges.
A user is moved to inactive status if not in the server, ventrilo or forums for a month, but they are placed into active status upon return. If a member is completely inactive for 3 months (no word from said member whatsoever) then they will be considered for removal from the clan. This is especially true for a person who is quite new to the clan.
Rule 11. Post your Questions & Concerns
If you have a problem with anything related to Exiled Gaming, please contact one of the Leaders or Officers, or post in the member's area on the forums. We do our work so you can have a better gaming experience, so if you have a suggestion or issue with anything from the servers to another member, tell us.
